Timber framing, joinery techniques (dovetails, mortise-tenon), roof trusses, door/window installation, finishing (varnishing, laminating), and CAD design basics.Hands-On Training:
Equipped workshops with power tools (saws, planers, routers), machinery, and projects like furniture sets, staircases, and fitted kitchens using local hardwoods.Duration & Certification:
6-24 months, awarding TVET Authority or KNEC diplomas/certificates (Levels 2-4), with NCA pathways for contractors.Career Outcomes:
Roles as carpenters, joiners, furniture makers, or foremen; supports Kenya's housing and furniture industries via apprenticeships.
